Great summer sipper, light strawberry notes with a light floral bouquet!
The Albarino at Category 5 is so refreshing and fun to drink. This wine is perfect for having on a nice warm day or just as a wine you enjoy with some pre-dinner snacks. It would be amazing pool side if you have that luxury. I highly recommend giving this wonderful wine a try. You don't get the chance to experience this varietal often in Washington unless you go to Category 5 and pick some up. Cheers!
My husband and I really enjoyed this wine. It was smooth and finished clean. As I went back to look in the wine cabinet I was surprised I hadn't purchased more. Guess I will need to stop by soon to get more!
Great every day wine! Seriously goes with everything! Love this winery!
I have never seen or tasted a pinot gris that is orange before! I was unable to taste it onsite so went with my gut and knowledge of how amazing all the other wines are and blind bought. All I can say is I need more of this in my life. So crisp and that flavor!!! WOW!
Amazing wine. We are regular orderers from New Orleans! Love it!
Dang this is so lovely. We bought a case and I’m so glad we did. Gonna need another I think.
Loved this wine! Try Cat5 you won’t be disappointed!
Nice Rose’ at a good price point! Try Cat5, you won’t be disappointed!
My first choice on a sunny eve. So good.
Enjoyed it . Bought more!!
Roses are my fave wines! This one is really nice- crisp, light, not too sweet. Love that it has Albarino and Petit Verdot in the blend.
I love this wine so much that I even brought a few bottles of it with me to visit my parents. They live near Sonoma/Napa/Livermore/Healdsburg and belong to several wine clubs so they have much more discerning palates than I do, so I was curious to hear their thoughts. They also loved it! I especially love this wine with spicy food and seafood- curry scallops and brown butter salmon with peppery arugula have been some delicious recent pairings.
Great go-to blend that pairs with almost everything. Keep it going; all your wines are great!!
We love to open this for friends and family. Big taste for a low cost.
Albariño, not many to choose from,
But new Favorite!
Pairs well with pasta, seafood- shellfish
Wonderful for Sunset sipping
Hi all, after tasting at least 20+ rose’s
This new vintage year 2021
I found this to be , by fat best tasting
Best overall Rose
Another homerun for Jason Smith on this just released wine club fav. Crisp, fresh and definitely a "porch pounder". I can see it pairs well with Thai, seafood or even pulled pork. So many possibilities
Delicious, rich, Cabernet. Great on the first and second day. Sad to see it go... Will need to swing by and buy some more!
A lovely warm spring & summer drinking wine, with balanced acidity. Easy drinking white wine that could easily pair with many summer dishes such as; pasta salad, a dry rub seasoning on either salmon or chicken straight off the grill.
We enjoyed this wine so much we brought it in the shop for purchase also.
Hacker Rose is a dry, tasty (not sweet) Rose. It is very nice to share and sip by yourself or with friends, any occasion, any place and any time. Serve outside on the deck with light hors d’oeuvres or appetizers on a nice spring day.
This is a wonderfully refreshing wine with a light apricot and pear note that finishes clean and crisp. Great to enjoy an a warm evening.
2018 Albariño - New Release!
I've had both the '17 and now this '18 and I actually prefer the '18. So crisp and refreshing!
